Soon after he started professional career in native Zagreb, Croatian born make-up artist Sasa Jokovic moved to Paris where he boarded the team of Charlotte Tilbury, with whom he gained international experience, working on major designer fashion shows like Alexander Mcqueen and Tsumori Chisato .
After returning to Zagreb, Sasa teamed up with the best Croatian fashion photographers Mladen Saric, Decker+Kutic, Marko Grubisic, Mare Milin and Bruna Kazinoti and started to regularly contribute on fashion and beauty editorial and cover shoots for magazines such as Elle, Cosmopolitan, GloriaGlam and StoryBook.
Nowadays, in addition to editorial shoots, he works on advertising campaigns for fashion, lifestyle and beauty industry brands L'oreal, Garnier, Maybelinne, Max Factor, Levi's, Adidas, Tag Heuer, Frédérique Constant, Frey Wille as well as campaigns and fashion shows for Croatian fashion brands and designers. For years he has been key make-up artist at Fashion.hr and Cro-a-Porter - the major Croatian fashion events. Part of his time he also divides between tv and film productions as key make up artist and professional advisor.
Furthermore Sasa was handpicked by Peter Philips as Chanel makeup ambassador for Central Europe. He travels between Zagreb and Paris, working on exclusive projects for Chanel and shooting editorials for major fashion magazines Marie Claire, Harpers Bazaar, Glamour, In Style, Grazia and Elle to more edgy publications such as The Room.
Recently Sasa won Elle Magazine Award as the best make-up artist in 2012.
